Atwater Village (Images of America) (Images of America (Arcadia Publishing)) ReviewI've lived in Atwater Village for 50 of my 65 years. The book is pretty comeplete, but left out a few interesting points. This area was originally part of Mixville, named after the silent screen cowboy star, Tom Mix. Also some of the more ah... "notable" or "colorful" residents at one time or another have been Caryl Chessman, Tokyo Rose, and councilman Art Snyder.
