The Burning Jacket ReviewOf the three main characters in this book I was able to identify best with the oldest one because of her alternative life style, and secondly with the youngest one, even though I am closest in age to the middle one. I enjoyed the various themes Nel touches on, including deforestation, modern terrorism, the elderly, and broken homes. Also, being a dog lover I was happy to have dogs be a definite part of the story. It was a very engrossing read and I have recommended it to all my reader friends.The Burning Jacket Overview

I love to go places that are overlooked by others and so this book was a wonderful addition to my trip to Washington. It led me on many day excursions for places that I otherwise would have missed. Darling roadside wine tasting rooms that were historic and scenic, out of the way places to eat that sold big foot memorabilia and a Hops Museum to boot!
