Back are the two best friends, Melanie Cooper and Angie Delaura. They are a modern day Lucy and Ethel (if Ethel wore miniskirts and could punch your lights out.) Melanie is the wacky can-do type who operates under the ask-for-forgiveness-later rule. When her Mom is framed for murder the duo jump into action. If you can read this book without craving (and demolishing) at least one delectable cupcake you are a better person than I (or you just skimmed.)
