Smiling Dog Bakery All Natural Dog Treat Recipes ReviewBefore I get to the bad stuff about this book, let me just say it was pretty good. The instruction was clear, the ingredients thankfully common in most cases - and it was pretty fun to read. That said, I am really glad I read the sample because the first recipe in it, for the cake, calls for RAISINS! Raisins are bad for dogs. Like vomit and die bad for dogs. Why on earth the author would have listed them is beyond me.
I won't say you shouldn't get this book, but be smart with your dog and his/her health - find yourself a list of the "forbidden foods" for dog, and get to know it. Then, if you happen to read this book, refer back to the list to make sure you're not going to add something that will kill your pet.
Read carefully, choose wisely, and if there's one or two items in a recipe that are dangerous, substitute with something safe. Just please don't take the author at face vale. Short Tails And Treats From Three Dog Bakery ReviewThis book is a quick read that held my interest from beginning to end. It's funny and has it's own unique charm. More importantly, however, is the business angle that is interwoven throughout the "tale" (the author's pun, not mine!). This is the story of two guys and their three dogs who started a company on a shoestring and have grown it to a good-sized company. I bought a second copy to give to my brother, as inspiration, who is now starting his third entrepreneurial endeavor. I can't think of a reason why readers and their doggies would not immenseley enjoy this book. I rank this book 5 stars.Short Tails And Treats From Three Dog Bakery Overview

I bought a copy of this book and ended up giving it to my neighbor's daughter who loved it so much, it made me go out and buy another copy! This book has many recipes you can make or bake at home for your dogs. My two dogs, McBeth (a yorkie) and Dolly (a pointer/mix?) loved the things I made for them. Plus they were EASY to make!!!!!!
