My mouth waters whenever I look at the cover. Eating my first Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwich is now a high priority on my to-do list. The stories by James Norton, Jill Lewis, Susan Pagani and Lori Writer are well-written and add even more flavor to foods that already look so tasty. Laura Taxel gives exhaustive commentary on a huge variety of restaurants, providing helpful reference points as to general cost, atmosphere and location. We found several of our very favorite restaurants thanks to her - it's a shame she wasn't interviewed when Anthony Bourdain filmed an episode of No Reservations here, because she's a true insider with an adventurous palate.
