Running a Restaurant For Dummies ReviewMy Mom ordered this book for me, as I was thinking of owning my own place. I have been in the restaurant business for several years, as a worker, and as a cook, and as a store manager. I thought I knew pretty much all I needed to know, but after reading this book, I am amazed at just how much MORE I needed to learn! This book has given me much more insight to more ways of obtainning the funds for starting out, and all the differrent things needed to know for employee hiring, inventory, money managment, and even how to find the best location! The book is also very true and realistic as to the difficulties occurred along the way to owning, and running a sucessful business. Thanks a lot "Books for Dummies" people for getting this book on the market. I know it will help a lot of folks who are thinking about opening their own restaurant. I am ready and anxious to get going on the road to owning my own pizza restaurant! Look for my place, SOON!

Start a Cupcake Business Today ReviewI was rather impressed by the events of recent days. What began as a disappointing purchase, turned into something with which I am very satisfied.
A few days ago I wrote a review of the Kindle version of this book and rated it 1 star. Not due to the advice contained in the book, but to the fact that the Kindle-version of the book was not properly formatted. Tables and bulleted lists were jumbled and impossible to understand.
Within 24 hours the author contacted me and corrected the book's Kindle formatting. I am quite happy now that I can read the book as it was intended to be read. Not only was Paula helpful and professional in her communication with me, but her book provides a great overview of the ins and outs of starting a bakery for someone like me who has worked in but never managed a bakery. I read it cover to cover in a few hours.
This is my revised review for the latest Kindle version of the book. At just a fraction of the cost of the print version, frankly it's a steal.Start a Cupcake Business Today Overview
